Daniel V Vigo

Daniel V Vigo currently serves as the Chief Scientific Advisor for Psychiatry, Toxic Drugs, and Concurrent Disorders at the Government of British Columbia, a position held since June 2024. Additionally, Daniel is an Associate Professor and Clinical Fellow at the University of British Columbia, and serves as an advisor to the Lancet Commission on NCDIs and Poverty and lecturer at Harvard Medical School. With extensive experience in various academic and advisory roles, including positions at the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization, Daniel contributes as an editorial board member for the Argentine Journal of Psychiatry - Vertex. Daniel's educational background includes a Doctor of Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, an MD from the University of Buenos Aires, and specialized training in Psychiatry and Neuropsychiatry.
