Elaine Suriel

Elaine Suriel serves as a Specialist in Emergency Advocacy and Communications at the Pan American Health Organization since June 2021 and also holds the title of International Communication Consultant within the Health Emergencies Department of PAHO/WHO. Prior experience includes serving as an Internal Communication Specialist at Banco León from September 2005 to October 2007, where responsibilities included leading internal communication strategies, editing corporate newsletters, managing the intranet, and coordinating various internal and external events. Additionally, Elaine was the Head of Advertising at Centro Gerencial Meta from January 2003 to January 2005, overseeing brand management, media planning support, and newsletter editing. Elaine's educational background encompasses a Master's degree in Public Relations from Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, along with a bachelor's in Advertising from UNAPEC and a diploma in Social Networks, Public Relations, and Corporate Communication from UNIBE.
