Anton Abrahams

Anton Abrahams has a strong background in information technology and cybersecurity. Anton started their career as an Information Technology Specialist at Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) in 2005, where they worked until 2007. After that, they became a self-employed Consultant from 2006 to 2011. In 2011, they joined Pan American Silver Corp. as an Information Technology Manager and worked their way up to Senior Information Technology Manager by 2014. Anton then served as the Director of Information Technology from 2017 to 2022 before being promoted to Vice President, Information Technology and Cybersecurity in March 2022.

Anton Abrahams holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology with a Minor in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Management of Technology MBA from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University from 2014 to 2016.

In 2022, Anton Abrahams also enrolled in two executive education and certificate programs at Carnegie Mellon University. The first program, completed in 2022, focused on Chief Information Officer (CIO) skills, while the second program, scheduled to be completed in 2023, focuses on Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) skills.
