Joanna Prior

Joanna Prior is a seasoned leader in the publishing industry, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Pan Macmillan since April 2022. In addition to this role, Joanna acts as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the National Literacy Trust, advocating for the importance of literacy and securing partnerships within the publishing sector. Joanna holds a Council Member position at The Publishers Association and recently served as Chair of The Women's Prize Trust, which celebrates female literary talent. Previously, Joanna was Managing Director of Penguin General Books and held various leadership roles within Penguin Random House and the publishing community. Joanna holds a Master of Arts in English Literature from Pembroke College, Cambridge.
