Scott Loong

Scott Loong is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the venture capital and FinTech sectors. Currently serving as a Partner at Panache Ventures since May 2021, Scott is involved in a $100M pre-seed and seed stage venture fund with operations across major Canadian cities. Prior to this, Scott co-founded and served as CEO of Covera, a FinTech startup acquired in 2019, focused on streamlining insurance product shopping through data-driven technology. Scott also held the position of Principal and Entrepreneur in Residence at Ferst Capital Partners and worked as an Associate at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP. Academic credentials include a B.C.L, LL.B, and MBA from McGill University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Journalism from Concordia University.
