Alex Makarov is a seasoned Database Engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently working at Panago Pizza since January 2020. Prior to this role, Alex held various engineering positions including Database Engineer and CloudOps at BuildDirect from July 2014 to December 2019, and Database Engineer at Move, Inc. from September 2005 to July 2014. Earlier experience includes serving as a Software Designer at Ernex, a division of Moneris Solutions, from March 2005 to September 2005, and as a Database Developer at Oneworld Accuracy (formerly HealthMetrx) from March 2003 to March 2005. The career began at Bank Slavyansky where Alex worked as a Software Engineer from 1995 to 2000. Academically, Alex holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from Zaporozhye Industrial Institute in Ukraine.
