Sarah Garmston

Sarah Garmston has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Sarah started their career as an Events Assistant at The University of Edinburgh in 2014. In 2015, they co-founded Bond Studio and served as the Creative Director. Sarah also worked as the Chief of Production at Leviathan during the same year. In 2016, they had a design placement at HarperCollins Publishers and later joined Ashinaga as a Designer. At Ashinaga, they held multiple design positions until 2022. In 2017, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Bounce Foods and started freelancing as a Designer. Sarah then joined Panaseer as a Designer in 2019 and currently serves as the Brand and Design Lead. Additionally, Sarah worked as a Designer at Simon & Schuster UK from 2019 to 2021 and as a Digital Designer at insendi from 2020 to 2022. Overall, their work experience highlights their expertise in design and their ability to adapt to different roles and industries.

Sarah Garmston has a diverse education history that spans multiple disciplines. Sarah completed the UX Academy program at Designlab in 2023, focusing on Web Page, Digital/Multimedia, and Information Resources Design. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from The University of Edinburgh from 2013 to 2016. Sarah also holds a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design from the University for the Creative Arts, which they earned from 2012 to 2013. Their secondary education was completed at The Sixth Form College Farnborough from 2010 to 2012, and they attended Collingwood College for high school from 2005 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, Sarah has completed the UX Academy Foundations program at Designlab in 2022 and is also a member of the ISTD, having obtained the MISTD certification in 2016.
