Guru R. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Guru currently holds the position of Head of Software Platform Engineering, Sr. Director at Panasonic Avionics Corporation, where they are responsible for delivering platform subsystem software functions at scale for commercial aircraft manufacturers and airline customers. Prior to this, Guru served as the Director of Engineering at Intel Corporation, leading a team of 50+ employees focused on R&D, product engineering, automation, and quality. Guru also played a key role in driving GTM plans and marketing collaterals for new high-value features, as well as delivering AI deep-learning Intelligent Collaboration AI features to customers. Guru's earlier experience includes serving as a Sr. Manager Engineering at Intel, where they led a high-performance product innovation and engineering group. Guru has also worked as a SoC System Architect, responsible for defining and designing video & DRM, audio, imaging, and security IP capabilities on Atom SoC. Additionally, Guru has held the position of Software Architect at Intel, where they defined new video and audio Intel IPP codec capabilities and led a team of system software engineers.

Guru R. pursued the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Program at The Wharton School from 2023 to 2024. Before that, they obtained a B.E degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangalore University. Following this, Guru earned an M.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Portland State University. Finally, they completed an MST degree in Technology Management at Oregon Health & Science University.
