Ron Ho is the Division Vice President, China at Panasonic Avionics. Ron has over 15 years of experience in the aviation industry.
Ron started their career as a software engineer with Parker Hannifin. Ron developed software for a portable wireless data acquisition console for Embraer ERJ-170 and upgraded and maintained data acquisition consoles for Boeing 777, Boeing 737, C17, C5, and Embraer ERJ-170. Ron also wrote and managed software requirements using DOORS.
In 2006, Ron joined Thales Avionics as a system engineer. Ron was responsible for managing customer requirements and test plan using DOORS, setting up and maintaining customer rack for development and integration, and working with airline customers and OEMs to perform Final Acceptance Test (FSAT). Ron also developed an automation test tool using LabVIEW and shell script to perform regression testing and identify critical errors in airline databases.
In 2010, Ron joined Panasonic Avionics as the Division Vice President, China. In this role, they are responsible for leading the company’s operations in China.
Ron Ho studied computer and electrical engineering at UC Irvine, where they earned their Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees. Ron also holds certifications from the Pragmatic Institute in Launch, Market, PMC Level IV, PMC Level V, Build, PMC Level III, Pragmatic Certified Product Manager, Focus, PMC Level II, Foundations, and PMC Level I.
Ron Ho reports to Adri Ruiter, Senior Vice President of Global Operations. Ron Ho works with Hernan Abbes - Regional Vice President and General Manager, Americas and Oceania Regions, Bob Dick - Vice President, Europe Region, and Andy Fellows - Vice President, Asia and Japan Regions.
