Derick Nguyen

Derick Nguyen is an experienced cost accountant with a strong background in financial analysis and operational excellence. Currently serving as a Cost Accountant II at Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America since July 2025, Derick previously held the position of Cost Accountant I at James Hardie, where key responsibilities included delivering cost analysis and financial insights for strategic decisions. Derick has also worked as an Operations Accountant Supervisor at CareWear Wearable Therapeutics, leading a team to align financial operations with strategic objectives. Prior experience includes roles at Grand Sierra Resort, where responsibilities spanned banquet service, supervision, and FP&A analysis, enhancing guest experiences and improving financial performance. Derick began the professional journey as an Implementation Assistant at BoardPackager, gaining insight into software implementation and quality assurance. An alumnus of the University of Nevada, Reno, Derick holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
