Raja Mukherjee

Raja Mukherjee is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the lighting industry, currently serving as Head of the Business Group and Senior Vice President of Panasonic's Lighting Business since March 2020. Mukherjee oversees a turnover exceeding INR 900 crore and is responsible for managing various business segments including B2B, B2G, and B2C. Prior to Panasonic, Mukherjee held leadership roles at Bajaj Electricals Ltd, where responsibilities included managing a team of over 320 professionals and implementing innovative business strategies for the Illumination and Luminaire business units. Previous experience also includes key positions at Seoul Semiconductor, Ideal Industries, Cooper Lighting & Safety, GE, and Philips India, demonstrating a robust track record in sales, marketing, and operational leadership across diverse market segments. Academic credentials include a PGCBM in Business Management from XLRI Jamshedpur and an M.Tech in Applied Physics from the University of Calcutta.
