Gyula Mester

Gyula Mester is an experienced technical manager with a career spanning several decades in the camera and film technology industry. Since April 2005, Mester has been with Panavision, focusing on camera remote systems, including evaluations, customizations, systems design, commissioning, service and maintenance, training, client contact and support, as well as production consulting. Prior to this role, Mester served as a technical manager and product manager at Technovision Cameras Ltd. from September 1988 to December 2020, where involvement included Technocrane development and manufacturing. Mester also held the position of director at CoolHead Ltd. from June 1993 to May 1995, contributing to the development and manufacture of the "CoolHead" two-axis camera remote head. Educational background includes a mathematics and informatics degree from the University of Münster and bilingual high school graduation from Pascal Gymnasium Münster.
