Melissa van Kannel

Melissa Van Kannel has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Melissa is currently serving as the Senior Director of Operations - Technology & Data at the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Prior to this, they worked for UnitedHealthcare Specialty Benefits as a Senior Manager in Client Relations from 2017 to 2022. Melissa also has experience as a Principal at Van Kannel Consulting, where they managed the implementation of complex Point of Sale software for a large active lifestyle and hospitality company. Melissa was a Project Manager at Spectrum Athletic Clubs, overseeing the migration of 12 locations to a new Point of Sale software platform and the implementation of SalesForce as a company-wide membership and sales platform. Melissa began their career at Meridian Health Care Management as the Vice President of Operations, where they led various departments and implemented system and client implementations.
