PCCF was founded in 2006, since then it has invested nearly $4 million in research at cancer centres across Canada. In 2016, PCCF’s Board of Directors approved funding for a multi-year, multi-million-dollar research project; the first Canadian Pancreatic Cancer Oncology Network (PANC ONE), lead by Dr. Steven Gallinger, is a research collaborative of the leading pancreatic cancer scientists from across Canada. PCCF is dedicated to raising funds for pancreatic cancer research, awareness, education and advocacy in Canada, with the goal of improving overall patient survival rates and creating a brighter future for those affected by pancreatic cancer.
