Richard Hoover

Richard Hoover has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Richard started their career in 2001 as a Computer Programmer at Laser Software Limited, where they worked on the LandRite land management system. Richard then transitioned to the role of Software Analyst, responsible for facilitating stakeholder meetings and managing requirements for product enhancements. In 2006, Richard joined Divestco Inc. as a Software Analyst and later became a Project Coordinator/Business Analyst. In these roles, they planned and ran team-building events, determined software direction through strategic analysis, and facilitated stakeholder meetings. Richard also had a self-employment period from 2014, where they operated SeaLeft Studios as a sole proprietor and worked as a Software Developer. Here, they designed, developed, and released multiple software applications, managed requirement life cycles, and supported client contract solutions. Currently, Richard works at Pandell as a Business Analyst, specializing in client implementation. Richard'sresponsibilities include acting as a subject matter expert, analyzing and mapping data between software systems, and providing recommendations on implementation plans and timelines.

Richard Hoover completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. In 2008-2009, they pursued a Petroleum Land Administration Certification from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Additionally, in 2018, Richard obtained a Business Analysis Extension Certificate from Mount Royal University.
