SVP at Pandion

Jeffrey Petersen is the Senior Vice President at Pandion. Jeffrey has over 25 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Jeffrey has held various positions at Walmart, Amazon, Target, and FedEx Express.

Jeffrey Petersen started their career at FedEx Express in 1995 as a senior manager. Jeffrey was promoted to director of transportation for the eastern region at Amazon in 2012. In 2018, they became the vice president of US transportation at J.W. Logistics, LLC.

Petersen joined Walmart in July 2019 as the senior director of transportation and sort center operations. Jeffrey developed the strategic vision for the sortation network to unlock an incremental 30% in transportation capacity through a lower cost alternative. Jeffrey also partner with operational VP’s to drive overall on time delivery improvements. In 2020, they developed the strategic vision for standing up 7 “pop up” sort centers for PEAK which provided 400k daily capacity.

As an executive leader, Petersen planned and executed the launch of pop up sort center network. In June 2021, they were promoted to Senior Vice President at Pandion.

Jeffrey Petersen has a MBA from Morehead State University and a BS in Business Administration from Saint Leo University.

Their manager is Scott Ruffin, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with James Mitchell - Head of Strategy, Albert Silva - Head of Transportation, and Vishal Vaingankar - Head of Data.
