Johan Melchior

Johan Melchior is the current Director of External Relations at Pandora. Prior to this, they were the Head of Media Relations & Social Media at Novozymes from January 2007 to June 2018, where they were responsible for the company's relations with mainstream, business, and trade media globally, as well as the corporate social media channels. Johan managed a team of seven people based in Denmark, the United States, and China. During their time at Novozymes, they delivered excellent results, including superior international media coverage compared to Novozymes' peers, a consistent top 3 ranking for the team in Aalund's survey of Denmark's business reporters, and a long list of positive features in international top-tier media such as the New York Times, Financial Times, The Guardian, Forbes, Fortune, Bloomberg, and Reuters. Their work included providing strategic PR counsel to Novozymes' management and business units, handling all corporate announcements and PR campaigns, media training of company spokespersons, and issues and crisis management. Johan also represented Novozymes on the Joint Leadership Team of Novozymes' and Monsanto's BioAg Alliance.

Before their time at Novozymes, Johan Melchior was the International Product Communications Manager at Nycomed from April 2006 to December 2006.

Johan Melchior has a Master of Arts in Communication from Roskilde University and a degree in Communications from Concordia University.
