Öncel Umut Türer

Öncel Umut Türer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries.

Öncel Umut began their career as a Project and Site Engineer at ARTI Architecture, Engineering and Consulting Ltd. in 2006-2007. After that, they worked as a Full-time Project Assistant at METU Civil Engineering Department in 2008-2009.

Öncel Umut then served as an Engineer Officer (* Military Service Duty) at the Turkish Military Institute from 2010 to 2011.

Türer then transitioned into the software development field, starting as a Software Development Engineer at enocta in 2011-2013. In this role, they were involved in tasks such as establishing data synchronization, fixing security holes, and creating customized customer reports.

Öncel Umut then worked as an Outsource Software Consultant at Bilge Adam in 2013-2014.

From 2014 to 2018, Türer worked as a Software Development Unit Manager at Infoline Bilgi Teknolojileri. In this role, they were responsible for managing a software development team, conducting market research, making product presentations, and designing database and software architectures.

Türer then joined SinerjiSoft Bilişim Sistemleri A.S. in 2018-2019 as a Senior Software Development Engineer. In this role, they were involved in various tasks including designing and testing custom multirotor UAVs and developing ground control station software.

Most recently, Türer has been working as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at PaneraTech, Inc. since 2019.

Öncel Umut Türer completed their Bachelor of Science degree in the Structural Mechanics Division at METU Civil Engineering Department from 2002 to 2006. Öncel Umut then pursued a Master of Science degree in a field related to web-based database for Experimental Structural Engineering Research at the same department from 2007 to 2010. Before their higher education, Öncel attended Mamak Anatolian High School from 1994 to 2001, where they studied Mathematics & Science.

In terms of certifications, Öncel holds numerous Microsoft certifications, starting with their Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification in .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Applications in December 2009. Öncel Umut obtained their Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification in December 2009 as well. In 2010, they received the Microsoft Software and Database Expert: Certificate of Excellence from Bilge Adam. Öncel later obtained the Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer: Web Applications (MCSD) certification in August 2013, followed by the Microsoft Specialist: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 Specialist certification from Microsoft in the same month. Their most recent certification is the Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) from Microsoft, which they obtained in January 2014.
