Yakup Bayram has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Yakup is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of PaneraTech, Inc., a position they have held since October 2010. Prior to this, they worked at ElectroScience Laboratory as a Senior Research Associate and Principal Investigator from June 2008 to December 2011. Before that, they were a Post Doctoral Researcher at ElectroScience Laboratory, The Ohio State University from 2007 to 2008. Yakup also gained experience as a Research Intern at the University of Michigan from 2001 to 2002 and as a Student Research Intern at ISYAM, a Communication and Spectrum Management Research Center, in 2000. Additionally, they worked as an Intern at Ericsson Turkey in 1999.

Yakup Bayram completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Bilkent University in the years 1997 to 2001. Following that, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at The Ohio State University from 2001 to 2004. Yakup further continued their academic journey at The Ohio State University and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical Engineering from 2004 to 2006. Wanting to broaden their knowledge, they then pursued a Master of Business Administration in Finance & Strategy at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business from 2005 to 2007.
