Giles Nutkins

Giles Nutkins has a diverse and extensive work experience in the tech industry. Giles is currently the Senior Director of Engineering at Pangaea and also serves as a Director at Nutsoft Consultants Limited. Prior to these roles, they worked at The Hut Group as an Engineering Manager, overseeing the development of their digital commerce technology. Giles also held the position of Software Development Manager at SAP, where they managed a team and implemented agile development practices. Additionally, they worked at Business Objects as a Senior Software Developer and at ALG Software as a Senior Developer. Their earlier experience includes working as a Technical Leader at BICC / Pirelli Cables, where they developed and implemented integrated manufacturing systems.

Giles Nutkins earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Manchester from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, they obtained an M.Sc. in Applied Optics from The University of Salford in 1991, and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Applied Physics and Electronics, also from The University of Salford, from 1988 to 1991. Additionally, Nutkins holds a certification as an MIEE from IEEE.
