Joey Melo

Joey Melo is an experienced professional in cybersecurity with a focus on ethical hacking and AI red teaming. Currently serving as an AI Red Teaming Specialist at Pangea since June 2025, Joey previously held the role of Senior Ethical Hacker at Packetlabs from April 2023 to June 2025, and prior to that, worked as an Ethical Hacker. Joey's background includes penetration testing at Bulletproof, a GLI Company, from August 2021 to April 2023, and roles as a Quality Assurance Analyst and Administrative Assistant with the Government of New Brunswick from June 2020 to August 2021. Joey holds an Associate's degree in Bilingual Office Administration from New Brunswick Community College, earned in May 2020.
