William Benner has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. William co-founded Pangolin Laser Systems Inc in 1993 and served as the President and Chief Technology Officer. In this role, they directed development activities, managed procurement and vendor relations, and designed innovative hardware products for the laser display industry. Prior to that, they worked at Fiscal Information, Inc from 1989 to 1993 as a Research & Development and Product Development Engineer, where they played a key role in developing medical practice management systems and optical disk-based backup systems. Before that, they worked as a Product Design Engineer at American Cable Advertising from 1986 to 1989. Prior to that, they worked at Cablevision Industries from 1984 to 1986 as a Bench & Head-End Engineer, where they designed and managed cable television head-end and distribution systems. Their first job was at Close-Wizard TV, where they worked as a Bench Technician and later became a Service Manager, from 1981 to 1984.
William Benner attended DBCC/UCF from 1985 to 1988, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. William did not obtain a degree during this time. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Scuba Diving from Scuba Schools International in December 2012 and a Motorcycle License from the State of Florida in January 2012.
