Valerie S. Phillips (Leal), MPH, CHES®, currently serves as the Suicide Prevention and Youth Education Specialist at Panhandle Health District, managing initiatives focused on suicide prevention and youth education on health-related topics. Valerie's earlier positions at California State University, Northridge, included roles in student and alumni engagement, alongside serving as a chief of staff and master of public health intern.
