Lee Canaan, CFA

Lee Canaan, CFA has extensive work experience in the energy industry and financial analysis. Lee is currently serving as the Director on the Board of Directors for ROC Energy Acquisition Corp. Since September 2003, Lee has been the Founder and Managing Partner of Braeburn Capital Partners. Lee has also held positions as a Director on the Board of Directors for EQT Corporation, Aethon Energy, PHX Minerals Inc., Philadelphia Energy Solutions LLC, Rock Creek Pharmaceuticals Inc., and Equal Energy Ltd. From 2009, Lee worked as an independent consultant, specializing in financial analysis, business strategy, and capital markets for the energy industry. Additionally, they worked as a Strategic Planning consultant for Quantum Ventures of Michigan LLC from 2011 to 2012.

Lee Canaan, CFA has a strong educational background in finance and geophysics. Lee first pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Sciences from the University of Southern California, where they studied from 1974 to 1978. Lee then continued their education at The University of Texas at Austin, where they completed a Masters degree in Geophysics between 1978 and 1982.

Recognizing their interest in finance and entrepreneurship, Lee enrolled at The Wharton School and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Entrepreneurship from 1989 to 1991.

To further enhance their professional credentials, Lee Canaan also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in September 1999, demonstrating their expertise in investment management and financial analysis.
