Ert Dredge

Ert Dredge has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. They started their career in 1998 as a Managing Software Engineer at PlanetOut Inc., where they oversaw the development of new site features and managed the backend migration. They then moved on to work as a Professional Services Engineer at Art Technology Group, where they designed and implemented software solutions for clients. Next, they joined Ambient Devices as the VP of Software Systems and Sr. Category Manager, where they managed software development and customer support teams. In 2010, they joined Endeca (acquired by Oracle in 2011) as an Engineering Manager and Program Manager, overseeing the development and release of high-profile software. They then joined Panorama Education in 2016 as an Engineering Manager before being promoted to Director of Engineering. At Panorama Education, they managed various engineering teams and initiatives focused on improving educator evaluation. Throughout their career, Ert Dredge has displayed strong leadership and technical skills, successfully managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering high-quality software products.

Ert Dredge obtained an S.B. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the period from 1988 to 1993. Later, from 1995 to 1996, they studied computational biology at Baylor College of Medicine. Finally, Ert pursued an M.S. degree in Software Engineering at the University of Houston-Clear Lake from 1996 to 1998.
