David Smits

David Smits, MD, is an accomplished ophthalmologist with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Partner at Panorama Eyecare since February 2021 and as President and Co-Founder of Eye to Eye Telehealth since 2020, David also holds the position of Wyoming State Counselor for the American Academy of Ophthalmology since September 2019. In addition to these roles, David practices at Cheyenne Eye Clinic and Surgery Center. David's previous experience includes a physician position at Massachusetts Eye and Ear from July 2018 to July 2019. David earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, completing studies there from 2015 to 2018, and furthered training at Harvard Medical School in collaboration with Massachusetts Eye and Ear from 2018 to 2019.
