Patrick Fournier has over 30 years of experience in the ski resort and hospitality industry. Patrick has held various management positions, including Director of Resort Operations at Panorama Mountain Resort since 2018. Prior to that, they were the Operations Maintenance Manager at The Lake Louise Ski Resort, where they managed personnel and fleet management for over 5 years. Patrick also served as the Vice President of Leisure & Sports at Hospitality Associates Asia Limited, leading capital projects and ensuring international standards were met. Earlier in their career, they were the VP of Mountain Operations at Melco China Resorts and the Mountain Operations Manager at Mountain Creek Resort Intrawest. Patrick has also worked as a Project Manager at Intrawest and Delta Engineering. Fournier's extensive experience includes overseeing snowmaking systems, grooming operations, vehicle maintenance, and park management. Patrick started their career in the industry as a Sales Representative at Turbocristal and later became the General Manager of Mont Farlagne Ski Resort. Patrick began their career in the ski industry as a Snowmaking Manager, then Assistant Mountain Manager, and ultimately Mountain Operations Manager at Alpine Ski Club.
Patrick Fournier attended Cite Des Jeunes, Edmundston from 1978 to 1981, where they obtained their high school diploma. In 1983, they enrolled at NBCC Edmundston Campus for a year to acquire their first-year apprenticeship accreditation in Electrical studies. The following year, from 1984 to 1985, Patrick pursued Ski Area Management at Humber College, earning a diploma in the field.
