Maiko Cohen has worked in a variety of roles since 1998. Maiko began their career at Green House as an Account Executive and Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for purchasing and price negotiations for computer parts and budgeting and prices for hard drive memories and cables lines. In 2001, they joined Fujikin Incorporated as a member of the Marketing department. From 2003 to 2017, they worked at Nexyz as a Telemarketing and Customer Support Representative, where their duties included telemarketing with business and private customers and sales of ADSL lines to business customers and home phone lines to private customers. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Marketing Associate at Taptica. Most recently, they have been a Client Success Manager for Japan at Persona.ly since 2019 and a Partner Success Manager at Panorays since 2021.

Maiko Cohen attended the Tōyō Daigaku Shōtoku Daigaku, a short-term college in Japan, where they studied Japanese literature.
