Hanchul Yoo

Hanchul Yoo is a highly experienced Senior Engineer at Pantech Wireless, Inc., with a tenure starting in April 2003. Yoo has been a key contributor to the Android Security/NFC team since July 2012 and served as the Team Part Leader for Android Security/NFC/BT from August 2010 to June 2012. Responsibilities include the development of Android security and NFC frameworks for major carriers such as AT&T and Verizon, as well as the creation of seven smartphone models and one tablet model based on Android/QUALCOMM solutions. Prior experience includes roles as an Assistant Research Engineer at Sewon Telecom from August 2001 to March 2003 and as an Engineer at LG Electronics, Inc. from June 1999 to October 2000. Hanchul Yoo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from Kwangwoon University, earned between 1996 and 1999.
