Ryan Barney

Ryan B. is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as a Partner at Pantera Capital since January 2022, following roles as Principal and Senior Associate. Prior experience includes serving as an Investor at Emergence Capital from June 2020 to December 2021, and as a Consultant and Associate at Boston Consulting Group from September 2017 to June 2020. Ryan began a career in finance with an Investment Banking Summer Analyst position at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2016 and a Strategy Consulting Intern role at Fieldglass, an SAP company, in 2015. Additionally, Ryan contributed to Boston College as a Teaching Assistant for the Portico Program from May 2015 to May 2017, mentoring freshmen in the Carroll School of Management. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Management with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Boston College.
