Marcel Bouts

Marcel Bouts is a seasoned professional in production technology with extensive experience in the oil, gas, and carbon capture sectors. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at MB Energy Consultancy & Training, Sr Production Engineer for EBN's CCUS projects, and Production Engineering Trainer at Exploration & Production Training Services, Marcel is actively engaged in multiple roles focused on production engineering, technology optimization, and training. Previous positions include significant leadership roles at Shell, where Marcel focused on production engineering, development projects, and learning initiatives, alongside experience in production system optimization at NAM. Marcel holds a Master's degree in Physical and Colloid Chemistry from Utrecht University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the Van 't Hoff Institute.
