Matt Greensmith

Matt Greensmith has a diverse range of work experience in the field of Information Technology. Matt is currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at Panthalassa since June 2023. Previously, they worked as a Principal at Lithic Technology from July 2019, contributing expertise in cloud infrastructure, developer experience, and distributed systems architecture. Prior to that, they held the position of Infrastructure Engineering Manager / Staff Engineer at Wistia from June 2020 to November 2022, where they managed the infrastructure engineering team and supported a large-scale video delivery platform. Matt also served as the Platform Engineering Lead at Dwelo from August 2018 to April 2020, overseeing platform engineering responsibilities. Before that, they were the Operations Engineering Manager at Cozy from January 2014 to May 2018, where they led a team responsible for the performance, reliability, and security of their SaaS-based product. Matt's earlier experience includes positions such as Operations Engineer at Analog Analytics from November 2012 to November 2013, Systems Administrator / Ops Engineer at Renewable Funding, LLC from April 2012 to November 2012, and Systems Administrator / Technology Support Specialist at Newberg School District from November 2008 to March 2012. Matt also worked as an IT Consultant at Robert Half Technology from July 2008 to November 2008, providing IT services to multiple clients. Prior to their IT career, Matt held roles such as Employee Performance Supervisor and Telephone Service Representative at NuComm International from 2002 to 2005, excelling in technical support and management positions.

From 2007 to 2008, Matt Greensmith attended Hillsboro Aviation where they obtained a degree in CPL(H), focusing on Commercial Pilot - Helicopter.
