Carlos Vilares

Carlos Vilares, CFA, MBA, currently serves as the Global Head of Insurance Solutions and Managing Director of Investor Relations at Pantheon since October 2021. A seasoned global insurance specialist and private markets solutions developer, Carlos focuses on the insurance channel as well as pension and wealth client interactions. Prior to this role, Carlos was Principal at Natixis Investment Managers, where leadership was provided to the UK life and general insurance client business from July 2017 to October 2021. Carlos has also held significant positions in business development and client relationship management at PIMCO, Man Investments, and worked as a lawyer in private markets and leveraged loans at Norton Rose Fulbright. Academically, Carlos holds an MBA from London Business School and a Law LLB (Hons) from the University of Nottingham.
