Karen Wood

Karen Wood is a highly experienced communications professional with a strong background in global policy and marketing within the non-profit sector. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Global Policy and Senior Director of Communications at PANTHERA since September 2015, Karen leads initiatives focused on the conservation of wild cat populations, overseeing donor engagement and crafting high-quality content. Previous roles include Lecturer at Boston University, Vice President of Communications and Marketing at the Conservation Law Foundation, and a consultant for local non-profits through Karen Carlton Wood Communications. Karen's earlier experience at CNET Networks, Inc. included a tenure as VP of Corporate Relations, where strategic communications efforts aligned a global workforce of 2,600 employees. Karen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in French from Vassar College and studied at the Institute of European Studies in Paris.
