Lauren Foden

Lauren Foden is a Regional Coordinator specializing in Data Management at PANTHERA since June 2019, focusing on the Southern Africa Leopard Program. With extensive experience as a Data Management Coordinator, Lauren expertly utilizes Panthera Integrated Data Systems (IDS) for data management, analysis, and decision-making in leopard conservation. Previous roles include Data Technician, responsible for managing camera trapping data and mentoring interns, and an internship as a Data Technician in the Data Science department. Prior experience includes serving as an Indoor Hockey Umpire at Pro Series Indoor Nationals and as a Sports Coach for junior hockey teams at De Hoop Primary School. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation Ecology and Entomology from Stellenbosch University, earned between 2015 and 2018.
