Charles Hill

Charles Hill is a Technical Support Engineer at RStudio PBC since February 2022, specializing in assisting customers with Linux server administration and troubleshooting complex issues. Currently employed as a CAC Engineer at Panviva with experience in supporting cloud knowledge management software and MS Azure application stack. Prior roles include SAAS Operations Engineer at Jive Software, where Charles managed Java-based web applications, and Software Support Engineer at UTI Worldwide, with expertise in Tibco, Puppet, and Docker. Charles has also contributed as a volunteer at Free Geek, building Linux-based PC systems, and has extensive experience in systems administration and IT support roles encompassing Unix, VMware, and SAN management since the early 1990s, including positions at Con-Way Services and Hewlett-Packard. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Redlands.
