David Fortener

David Fortener, MBA, is an experienced professional in logistics and transportation management with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Senior Director of Transportation & Inventory Optimization at Papa Johns since February 2011, David has held various positions including Director of Transportation Systems & Support and Sr. Logistics Manager. Prior to joining Papa Johns, David worked at Pegasus Transportation, Inc. as Director of Operations and at The Complete Logistics Company as Logistics Project Manager. David's career also includes roles at Ryder System, Inc., where responsibilities included Recruiting Manager and Logistics Manager. David holds a Master of Business Administration from Purdue Global and a Bachelor of Arts from Bellarmine University, as well as completing secondary education at Saint Xavier High School.
