Ranganath Gunawardane

Ranganath Gunawardane is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in embedded systems and software development. Currently serving as a Principal Product Engineer at PaperCut Software since December 2016, Ranganath has progressed through various roles including Senior Product Engineer and Senior Software Developer. Previous experience includes working as an Embedded Software Engineer at Freestyle Technology, where Ranganath contributed to IoT solutions for smart meters, and as an Associate Technical Lead at LSEG Technology, focusing on high-performance electronic trading systems. Ranganath's earlier roles involved designing embedded systems at METATECHNO LANKA COMPANY and Metatechno Inc., primarily targeting MIPS based RTOS and embedded Linux platforms. Ranganath holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, completed in 2003.
