Shahriar Hasan

Shahriar Hasan has a diverse and extensive work experience across various industries. Shahriar is currently serving as Director at the Ecommerce Association of Bangladesh since August 2022. Before that, they founded Paperfly Limited in 2019 and held the position of Founder & CEO.

Prior to their entrepreneurial venture, Shahriar Hasan worked at banglalink from March 2017 to December 2018 as Head of Acquisition and Postpaid. Shahriar also held the position of Vice President at Robi Axiata Limited's Airtel Business Unit, Market Operations from November 2016 to February 2017.

Their experience in the telecom industry includes working as Head of Acquisition at Airtel Bangladesh Limited from September 2013 to October 2016. Shahriar also served as Head of Retail Sales & Distribution and Senior Manager of Indirect Sales & Channel Development at Augere Wireless Broadband Bangladesh Limited from January 2013 to August 2013 and from January 2010 to December 2012, respectively.

Shahriar Hasan started their career at British American Tobacco where they worked as an Area Manager from December 2005 to December 2009. Prior to that, they served as a Territory Officer from August 2003 to November 2005.

Their earliest work experience was at Pacific Bangladesh Telecom Limited, where they worked as a Customer Care Executive from July 2002 to July 2003.

Shahriar Hasan completed their primary education at Saint Joseph High School from the year 1987 to 1995, where they achieved their SSC degree in Science. Following this, they attended Notre Dame College from 1996 to 1997 to pursue their HSC degree in Science. Finally, Shahriar Hasan enrolled at North South University from 1998 to 2001, where they earned their BBA degree in Marketing and Management Information Systems (MIS).
