Jost Gloor has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. Jost is currently the CEO and Co-Owner of papilio ag since January 2021. Furthermore, Jost Gloor has military experience, having served in the Swiss Armed Forces as a Platoon Sergeant in Infantry and mechanized Reconnaissance from 1997 to 2010.
Earlier in their career, they worked as the Head of School/Principal and Project Leader at Bildungsdirektion Kanton Zürich from 2001 to 2007.
Jost Gloor's education history begins with their Matura degree, which they obtained from Kantonsschule im Lee in Winterthur in 1997. Jost then pursued a Diploma of Education from Pädagogische Hochschule Zürich, completing it between 1999 and 2001.
In 2004 and 2005, Jost attended aeB Schweiz - Akademie für Erwachsenenbildung, where they obtained a Zertifikat Schulleiter (Certificate in School Leadership), a Modul Projektmanagement (Module in Project Management), and a Modul HR Management (Module in HR Management).
In 2009, Jost enrolled at ZHAW School of Management and Law, where they completed various programs in Leadership & Management. Jost first earned a CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) in Leadership & Management, followed by a DAS (Diploma of Advanced Studies) in Leadership & Management in the same year. Jost then pursued a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Leadership & Management from 2009 to 2011 at the same institution.
Jost further enhanced their knowledge and skills by attending several executive education programs. In 2016, they completed the Business Strategy for HR Leaders - Executive Education at INSEAD. In 2017, they attended the Executive Program in Strategy & Organisation at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, focusing on Organizational Leadership.
Jost Gloor also obtained additional certifications to supplement their education. In 2013, they acquired the certifications of Leadership Architect 101, Succession Architect, and Talking Talent from Korn Ferry. In 2014, they completed the Change Leadership program at ZfU International Business School, facilitated by Dave Ulrich and Marshall Goldsmith.
