Kim Jakub

Kim Jakub has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently, Kim holds the role of Vice President and Refinery Manager at Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. since June 2023. Previously, Kim worked at ExxonMobil for over two decades, starting as a Process Engineer in July 2003 and progressing through various roles including Feedstock Coordinator, Maintenance Section Supervisor, and Business Team Leader. From March 2012 to January 2014, Kim served as the Americas Planning Advisor, and from February 2014 to November 2015, Kim was the Crude and Feedstocks Optimizer. Subsequently, Kim held the position of Americas Basestocks & Specialties Product Manager from December 2015 to July 2018. From July 2018 to July 2020, Kim served as the Technical and Engineering Manager, followed by the role of Process Operations Manager from July 2020 to April 2022. Finally, Kim worked as the Refinery Manager at ExxonMobil from April 2022 to June 2023.

From 1998 to 2003, Kim Jakub attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
