Matthew Legg

Matthew Legg has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer since January 2022 and as Vice President of Human Resources since July 2019. Prior to joining Par Pacific, Mr. Legg served as Vice President of Human Resources for Emerald Performance Materials in Vancouver, Washington. Previously, he served in a variety of field and corporate HR leadership roles with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Ensco plc, and Chevron Corporation in Texas, California, Nigeria, and the United Kingdom. Mr. Legg currently serves as an executive advisor and instructor to the master's in HR management program for professionals at Texas A&M University, and previously served as an adjunct professor of business at Houston Baptist University. Mr. Legg holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Texas A&M University, an MBA from University of Houston - Clear Lake, and a master's degree in human resources management from University of Southern California.
