Michael Doherty

Michael Doherty has a diverse work experience in the fields of strategy, financial planning, M&A, business development, deal advisory, and audit. From October 2019 to February 2022, they worked at Par Pacific Holdings, Inc., starting as a Manager in M&A & Business Development and progressing to Senior Manager in Strategy & Financial Planning. Michael is currently serving as the Director of Strategy & Financial Planning at the same company. Prior to that, from October 2011 to September 2019, they worked at KPMG, starting as an Audit Senior Associate and later transitioning to the role of Deal Advisory Manager.

Michael Doherty completed their education from 2006 to 2011 at the Texas McCombs School of Business. Michael earned a Master's degree in Professional Accounting (MPA) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Accounting. In 2010, they briefly studied at the Prague University of Economics and Business, although the details regarding the degree and field of study are unknown.
