Scott Yakunovich

Scott Yakunovich has extensive work experience in the field of compensation and rewards. Scott is currently the Director of Total Rewards at Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. Since joining in December 2019, they have been responsible for managing and overseeing the company's total rewards program.

Prior to their current role, Scott spent a significant portion of their career at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, where they held various compensation management positions. From April 2016 to December 2019, they served as the Manager of Global Compensation, leading the development and implementation of the company's global compensation strategies. Before that, they were the Domestic Compensation Manager from June 2004 to March 2016, overseeing compensation programs for domestic employees. Scott also held the role of Compensation Supervisor from April 2001 to May 2004 and served as an HR Advisor for Compensation & HRIS from November 1999 to March 2001.

Early in their career, Scott worked at Marathon Oil Corporation, where they held several compensation analyst positions. As a Sr. Compensation Analyst from September 1998 to November 1999, they played a key role in designing and administering compensation plans. Prior to that, they held the role of Advanced Compensation Analyst from July 1992 to August 1998, and as a Systems Analyst from June 1987 to June 1992, they contributed to the development and maintenance of compensation systems.

Scott Yakunovich attended Lorain County Community College from 1982 to 1984, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Pre-professional Business. Scott then went on to attend Kent State University from 1985 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. At Kent State University, they pursued a dual major in Human Resources and Computer Science.
