Nikel Rogers-Wood, Ph.D. has been working in the field of psychology since 2003. Nikel began as a Graduate Student Coordinator for the Psychology 1000 Program at the University of North Texas. In 2008, they became a Corporate Consultant and Psychologist at CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGICAL CENTER, and also began teaching as an Adjunct Professor at various universities. In 2010, they became an Assistant Professor at Victory University. In 2013, they founded Refresh Psychological Services, LLC and provided consulting services in skilled nursing homes and individual and family therapy. In 2015, they became a Staff Psychologist at MedOptions, where they provided services in-person and via videoconferencing, and administered psychological assessments. In 2016, they began working at the University of South Florida as a Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program Coordinator, Staff Psychologist, Assessment Curriculum Leader, and Pre-Doctoral Intern Primary Supervisor. In 2018, they became the Clinical Director and Psychologist at Rice Psychology Group. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Project Director at PAR - Psychological Assessment Resources.
Nikel Rogers-Wood, Ph.D. has obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas, a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of North Texas, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Anthropology from The University of the South. Additionally, Nikel Rogers-Wood, Ph.D. holds certifications as a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Florida, a Licensed Psychologist, Health Service Provider in the Tennessee Board of Examiners of Psychology, and a Licensed Psychologist, Health Service Provider in the Iowa Department of Public Health.
