Manoj Kanyana

Manoj Kanyana is currently the Dev Ops Manager at Parabole.ai. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Product Engineer at HARMAN International India Pvt. Ltd. from February 2014 to April 2018. There, they worked on the development and integration of the infotainment system for Jaguar Land Rover.

Some of their project responsibilities included middleware and platform changes to optimize the startup sequence of the system to meet customer requirements, developing a middleware component called Gateway to resolve CORBA components at startup, and modifying the systemd service files of all the components and manifest files to change the startup sequence. Manoj also worked on middleware and platform changes to implement security for the infotainment system, including creating multiple users and groups with different permissions, creating a filesystem RPM to change file permissions and ownerships, and modifying all components to be started as different users based on privileges required. In addition, they were responsible for SWDL implementation to update the infotainment software at dealer/customer side, including platform changes to enable SWDL, analyzing and debugging issues related to SWDL, and POC on SWDL over-the-air.

Other responsibilities included kernel patching and building, performing release activities and code reviews, being involved in several knowledge sharing sessions for the bring up of new colleagues, coordinating with suppliers and JLR onsite team to solve/fix issues, board bring up, and checking board issues.

Manoj Kanyana graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from NMAMIT, nitte. Manoj also attended Canara Pre-University College.

Their manager is Sandip Bhaumik, CTO. They are on a team with Nilanjan Gangtait - St Architect, Rohit Khandekar - Sr Architect, and Ashish Ghora - Sr Architect.
