Fernando Rando Urbieta

Fernando Rando Urbieta is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology infrastructure and operations. Currently serving as Gerente de Infraestructura - TI & Digital at Paracel since October 2023, Fernando is actively involved in the planning, design, and implementation of technological infrastructure solutions for Paraguay's largest industrial project. With a long tenure at Universidad Católica de Asunción as a Professor since July 2005, Fernando has also held multiple leadership roles at Telecom Personal Paraguay from December 2006 to July 2023, overseeing operations, new technologies, billing, and control processes. Additionally, Fernando contributed as a founding board member of the Asociación de Usuarios de Internet y Telecomunicaciones and held a research position at LED - UCA. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Telecommunications Economics from UNED, Spain.
