Rich Altschuler

Rich Altschuler has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Rich has held various leadership positions in different companies.

From 2018 to present, they worked as the Director of IT at Paraco Gas Corporation. In this role, they led the IT organization, overseeing all technology functions and managing applications, infrastructure, help desk, data security, and disaster recovery for an organization with over 500 employees and 25 locations.

In 2017, they worked as a Management Consultant at RGP and Independent. Here, they provided strategic management consulting for leading companies in minerals technology and construction services. Rich led various projects, including the successful upgrade of a global PeopleSoft application and the implementation of cloud-based Oracle Transportation Management and other software.

From 2003 to 2016, they served as the VP of Applications at News America Marketing. In this role, they led the CRM implementation, partnered with sales and marketing functions for delivering prioritized business and IT initiatives, and led the delivery of a digital coupon magazine.

In 2001 to 2003, they were the CIO of Altec Lansing, where they led the Information Technology delivery for a global electronics manufacturing corporation. Rich crafted the IT Strategic Plan and implemented global network infrastructure enhancements and application system implementations.

In 1998 to 2001, they worked at PanAmSat, first as the Director of Process Improvement and later as the Sr. Manager of Application Development. Rich partnered with the executive team to prioritize and implement process improvement and system development activities. Rich also led the development, maintenance, and support of all applications.

In 1997 to 1998, they were the Director of Application Development at Coca-Cola Bottling Company of New York. Rich led the development, maintenance, and support of various applications, including sales, distribution, finance, manufacturing, and human resources.

From 1995 to 1997, they worked as the Director of Application Development for Sales and Marketing at ADVO, Inc. Rich provided strategic direction and management for the sales and marketing organizations, influencing key business leaders in the design of automated selling processes and developing the three-year systems development strategic plan.

From 1984 to 1995, they worked at PepsiCo as a Group Manager of Information Technology. In this role, they were responsible for the reengineering of sales, financial reporting, and procurement processes. Rich directed a team in the development, testing, and implementation of new processes, reporting to the Senior VP of Business Transformation/CFO.

Rich Altschuler holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Baruch College. Rich also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College. Furthermore, Rich completed the Information Technology Executive Certification Program at MIT Sloan School of Management.
