Bill Pugh

Bill Pugh has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Bill began their career with The Athlete's Foot as the Director of Store Operations, Merchandise, and Marketing & Advertising, where they focused on maximizing store effectiveness and profitability through store construction, visual presentation, training, and information systems. Bill later joined Six Flags Over Georgia as the VP/Director of Retail, responsible for developing strategies to maximize sales and profitability for the retail division.

Bill then moved to Six Flags Entertainment Inc., where they served as the Director of In-Park Services, leading multi-department teams in the Atlanta and Arlington theme parks. Bill supervised daily operations and functions, ensuring guest satisfaction and maximizing revenue opportunities.

Following that, they joined Six Flags Over Texas as the Director In-Park Services - Retail, overseeing food services, catering, merchandise, games, and attractions. Bill focused on visual presentation, training, operating procedures, and profit/loss controls.

Bill then transitioned to Six Flags, Inc. as the West Region Director - Food & Beverage, where they directed and evaluated food service and catering operations in nine theme and water parks across multiple states and Mexico. Bill developed park strategies for revenue and profit growth and drove guest satisfaction.

Returning to airport retail, Bill joined Paradies Lagardère as the Regional Director, responsible for the operations of 40 airport retail and food service locations across various major airports. Bill integrated the first full-service food and beverage operations as a major growth initiative.

Lastly, Bill assumed the role of Senior Director, Store Operations at Paradies Lagardère, where they were in charge of communication, new store execution, operations technology enhancements, project management, and business productivity analysis.

Bill also holds a graduate degree from Leadership Arlington.

Bill Pugh earned their BS in Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington between 1978 and 1983.
