Mukesh Ahuja has extensive work experience in the biopharmaceutical and medical research field. Mukesh is currently serving as the Global Clinical Head of OA at Paradigm Biopharmaceuticals. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President - Clinical & Medical Affairs at Ortho RTI. Mukesh also worked as the Director of Industry Sponsored Research Programs (Consultant) at Rush University Medical Center. Additionally, they served as the Senior Clinical Affairs Program Manager - Motion Preservation at Orthofix Ltd, where they played a key role in developing the clinical affairs strategy and selecting sites for clinical trials. Earlier in their career, they held various leadership positions at Medacta USA, Inc. as the Director of Medical Affairs and Director of Clinical Research. Mukesh also served as a Research Administrator and Consultant for industry sponsored research programs at Rush University Medical Center. Mukesh Ahuja began their career as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Midwest Orthopaedics at RUSH and the Research & Education Foundation of the Michael Reese Medical Staff.

Mukesh Ahuja completed their education with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Research from Rush University, between the years 2008 and 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree in Medicine from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences from 1996 to 2002. Mukesh Ahuja also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & History from the University of Sindh, although the exact dates of their enrollment are unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Mukesh Ahuja has obtained various certifications. Mukesh became a Certified Principal Investigator in May 2008 from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. Mukesh also completed the Healthcare Management Certificate Program at Loyola University Chicago in 2008. Furthermore, Mukesh Ahuja received training in CRA & CRC from the Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences (NUCATS) Institute in 2007.
